The Bucklerburn Track was officially our very first trail, opened in October 2021 and links the town of Glenorchy to Buckler Burn Bridge via Campbeltown. It provides walkers and bikers the opportunity safely walk/ride/run from township until just before the Buckler Burn Bridge.
The next stage for Glenorchy Trails is to have a new bridge in place so walkers/cyclists can safely cross the buckler burn away from the main road, with the final goal being having a safe trail all the way up the hill to the Whakaari Conservation area.

Opening Summer 2023.
We are currently fundraising for Stage 2 which will include a dedicated bridge for walkers/bikers to safely cross the Buckler burn and get to Whakaari Conservation Area.
This will have incredible benefits for locals and visitors alike as the Whakaari (also known as Mt Judah Track) is very popular for hiking/biking, allowing users to access it safely from Township without the need of driving. Please consider donating here.
